Founded in 2020, Walmer Group is a leading funding specialist, ensuring all clients are fully serviced with their funding requirements. With over fifty years of combined experience in Research and Development (R&D) Tax and Innovation Funding, this allows Walmer to implement the most impactful and effective strategies to benefit them.

We are committed to assisting startups, scaleups and established businesses in navigating the intricate and often challenging funding landscape. Born out of the frustration of how fragmented and difficult accessing funding had become, our expertise helps industry-leading companies in unlocking innovation, government and private funding.

    With a keen eye for details, Tad’s role is to ensure our team works like a well-oiled, turbocharged engine, achieving maximum efficiency and client satisfaction.

    As an ex-ice hockey player and with a passion for fast cars, he leverages his quick thinking and proactive approach to deliver more efficient processes for our clients.

    Technical Director

    With years’ worth of experience in R&D Tax Relief as a specialist technical consultant, Hannad has generated over £30 million worth of benefit for software and technology companies throughout his career. A Computer Science graduate and ex-Hewlett Packard alumni, he brings a wealth of technical expertise to the R&D Tax process.

    Commercial Director

    With over 12 years of experience in sales, business development, trading and financial services, James previously spent 4.5 years growing Australia’s leading private investment platform throughout Asia Pacific.

    Since moving to the UK in 2017, he has worked with a number of fast-growing start-ups and scale-ups (SaaS, AI, Climate Tech) in their business growth and commercial strategies.

    He also holds a Master of Finance and Bachelor of Property Economics from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and is an absolute sports tragic.

Chaimaa is also the second addition to our team from Morocco, born and raised in the “Red City” of Marrakech.
